Sendo Toilets - Completed and handed over

We are delighted to have handed over the brand new boys and girls toilets to the Sendo Primary School.

This construction project was a joint investment project between the Sendo Primary School and its Development Committee, the Sendo Community and its leaders, various departments within the Babati Town Council, Impact Lead Tanzania (our in-country delivery partner) and Mikuyu Tanzania and friends. We all came together to identify the problem, explore solutions and deliver a solution that meets the needs of the users of today and future users. “Together, we are in this” - everyone had a part to play, no one was a passenger.

The students should never again have the same levels of toilet anxiety, should never miss school for fear of getting sick or being unable to safely and privately manage their periods.

Now they can take toilets for granted and just focus on their education
